ECOSCAN practicums facilitate unique hands-on experiences where beneficiaries learn to identify the nutritional & medicinal values of local wild-crops and shadow professional instructors in regional production kitchens & food-service environments. Qualifying participants will also graduate with a Ministry of Education Accredited ECOSCAN Certification allowing them to engage new emerging opportunities as premier Ecologically Sustainable Culinary Arts & Nutrition professionals throughout Belize’s growing culinary tourism sector.
